What You’ll Do

As Director of Software Engineering , you’ll take a hands-on approach to leading and contributing to the development of Zoom My Life’s digital health platform. You will:

• Shape Product Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define the engineering roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and deliver on our company vision.
• Hands-On Development: Actively write and review code, assist with debugging, and contribute directly to the development of core features.
• Lead by Example: Mentor and inspire a diverse engineering team, demonstrating best practices and fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive AI-Powered Solutions: Build and integrate advanced AI features—such as Generative AI chatbots and knowledge graphs—into our mobile and cloud-based applications.
• Architect Scalable Systems: Design and maintain a robust, HIPAA-compliant Firebase backend capable of delivering real-time, actionable health insights.
• Enable Seamless IoT Integration: Contribute to efforts connecting wearable health devices (e.g., Apple Health, Fitbit, Oura) with the platform to provide comprehensive health monitoring.
• Ensure Compliance & Security: Implement and maintain industry standards like FHIR and HL7, ensuring secure and interoperable healthcare data processing.
• Optimize DevOps & QA: Set up CI/CD pipelines, automate testing processes, and ensure security best practices to maintain high-quality software delivery.

What We’re Looking For

✅ 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments.

✅ Proven expertise in Flutter and Firebase technologies, including Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Functions.

✅ Demonstrated success in building AI-powered mobile and cloud applications, including generative AI or chatbot integration.

✅ Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GraphQL, and REST APIs.

✅ A deep understanding of healthcare standards and protocols, including FHIR, HL7, and HIPAA compliance.

✅ A track record of scaling complex systems and ensuring smooth integration with IoT devices.

✅ Passion for creating user-focused, AI-driven applications that improve lives.

✅ A “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude—willingness to actively code, solve problems, and contribute directly to key deliverables.
