Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic and compassionate ESL Teacher who can provide engaging lessons to students at various levels of English proficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English as a Second Language, and the ability to create a positive, student-centered learning experience. You will help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with an emphasis on practical communication.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality ESL lessons to students of various skill levels
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including technology, to enhance the learning experience
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance
• Communicate with students and their families about progress and goals
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field
• Professional Educator License with EL Endorsement preferred
• Experience teaching in an elementary setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage students with varying levels of English proficiency
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style
• Knowledge of modern ESL teaching methods and resources
• Familiarity with using educational technology and online learning tools is a plus
