Job Title: Instructional Designer (Epic Cogito)

Duration: 4 Months
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to provide Epic training support for the integration of a newly acquired medical facility into the healthcare system. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive training sessions to end users prior to the system go-live. Post go-live, the candidate will provide hands-on, at-the-elbow support to address any issues, answer questions, and offer real-time assistance to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly modify Epic training materials to align with new workflows.
• Conduct in-person training sessions, with the ability to train for up to 9 hours per day.
• Provide in-person at-the-elbow support, up to 12 hours per day, to assist end users with system adoption and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum of two years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering Epic training for one or more of the following applications:
  
  • Epic Cogito
  • Other relevant Epic modules
• Strong ability to adapt and customize training content to fit evolving workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse end users.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand healthcare environment.

Certifications:

• Epic curriculum certification or accreditation in one of the following:
  
  • Cogito
  • Training Environment Build (preferred)
