We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team on various projects. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that electrical installations are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant codes and standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete installations.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.
• Conduct testing of electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) while performing all electrical work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
• Electrical construction: 4 years (Preferred)
• Experience with high voltage systems and the ability to handle them safely.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of power tools used in the electrical trade.
• Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed for installation purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay is based on experience
