Job Overview Opus is looking for a talented and detail-oriented QA Software Tester to join our dynamic and innovative software development team. As a QA Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, perform rigorous testing, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly. Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify software defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks. Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, including test scenarios, scripts, and data setup, to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features, including those related to Remote Copilot and Expert Mode. Design, implement, and support automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks. Execute regression tests to validate bug fixes and ensure that new software releases do not introduce new issues. Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that might not be covered by existing test cases. Document and track defects using issue tracking systems and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on software quality and suggesting process enhancements. Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on testability and potential quality concerns. Stay up to date with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in software testing. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a QA Software Tester or in a similar quality assurance role. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes. Proficiency in designing and executing manual and automated test cases. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Ranorex, Power Automate). Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Knowledge of C# programming language and GIT version control is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance and load testing. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
