Overview Acuity, Inc. has an immediate opening for a React Native Developer to join our engineering team! Are you a web developer with expertise developing quality code? Acuity is looking for a React Native Developer, an individual with experience on cross platform app development for Android and iOS platform, that has a good understanding & hands-on in implementing unit tests frameworks used for mobile app development and to collaborate with other team members on agile development teams. Acuity, Inc. is a consulting firm that supports federal agencies in the areas of IT Modernization, Data Enablement, and Hyperautomation. Responsibilities Implement iOS and Android Mobile and Tablet apps using native development tools and React Native. Create UI Screen and Modules in both IOS and Android and integrate with React Native application. Create software code, unit tests and assist with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Review requirements, wireframes, and designs for technical feasibility, then translate these into user stories that can be implemented. Improve product quality through code reviews, writing effective unit tests, and implementing automation testing. Work collaboratively in a small, focused product team with other developers and business stakeholders to develop the application’s UI/UX, interfaces, and integrations in an Agile Scrum environment. Qualifications 3+ years of professional software development experience. Hands on experience in React Native with TypeScript. Knowledge in React Native, Objective-C, Swift, Core Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, cross platform mobile solution. Experience working on large, complex systems. Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams. Experience in developing native and cross platform mobile application of different form factor.
